"Absolutely loved this hotel! We stayed here for 2 nights after reading recommendations on this site and having stayed at the San Clemente Palace in Venice which is part of the same hotel group. "Delightful surprise. We arrived at the Grand Hotel Santa Lucia from Capri for our overnight stay earlier than planned, due to rain. After a hectic, but expected taxi ride, we arrived at the Grand Hotel Santa Lucia and received a warm welcome, an unsolicited upgrade to a junior suite with glorious views (the jacuzzi was not working but the management informed us of this when he asked whether we would like the upgrade - the shower worked so there was no problem). The front desk was very helpful in planning out our limited time in Naples with respect to museums, restaurants and maps. They informed us that certain churches were open only during that month and that we shouldn't miss the opportunity to see the sculpture of the "Veiled Christ " --spectacular! We had a wonderful afternoon, a complimentary drink in the hotel bar when we returned from sightseeing, and a wonderful evening enjoying the view from our balcony. The management also left a little piece of pottery as a souvenier in the suite for us. We have nothing but wonderful memories of the hotel and its friendly and accomodating staff."
"Real Italy. The Grand Hotel Santa Lucia was the best choice I could have made for a romantic anniversary/birthday surprise. The view from our balcony: Vesuvius to the east and Bay of Naples to the west was breathtaking. The accomodations were plush and decadent right down to the 2 person + jacuzzi bath in marble! The waterfront neighborhood was magnificent and many locals strolled along the harbor for their afternoon promenade. All in all, Naples (Pompeii, and Amalfi Coast) is definitely on my list to revisit in the near future."

Holiday Inn Hotel is a four stars hotel near Naples central railway station, in a strategic position in the heart of the "Centro Direzionale", the new and modern commercial and residential area of Naples.
The hotel is about 1 km from the train station and 2 km from the city centre.
The hotel has a restaurant (see picture), where brunch is served every sunday with musical accompaniment, while Bellini Bar has live musical entertainment every evening.
Other hotel facilities include 18-room Congress Center and 1000 square meters of exhibition space, video conferencing equipment and Business Center, Mini Gym with solarium, sauna, hydro-massage and gym.
Aesthetic treatments and massage are also available.

"Excellent shuttle service, but access by public transport is good. Surrounding development is not very interesting and not enough close facilities i.e. bars, restaurants open at night. Food very good with excellent and reasonably priced wine list. Lacking in tourist information. Could do with more leaflets, etc, although Naples generally doesn't provide much help to the Tourist despite the fact that the people themselves are very friendly and helpful."
"The Holiday Inn is what you would expect from a chain hotel - clean, comfortable, good buffet breakfast and perfectly acceptable for a short stay. Location is a bit off putting at first (3km from the city centre) however, we were not paying city centre rates! If you intend to use the transport service to/from airport and city centre, check times carefully, rather than expect a bus to be there when you want one. It is also 'first come first served' so backup transport might be necessary at busy times - apart from day 1 (airport-hotel) it worked well for us."

The newly refurbished, modern, good quality and very well located Grande Albergo Mediterraneo is a four stars hotel in the heart of Naples, few steps from the famous Plebiscito Square, Chiaia Street, the Royal Palace and Castelnuovo.
The hotel is 100 metres from Naples harbour, where ferries leave for all the resorts around the Bay of Naples (for trips to Capri, Ischia, Procida and Sorrento), 10 minutes from the railway station in Garibaldi Square, 15 minutes from the International Capodichino Airport, 10 minutes from the main motorway system.
"The room was reasonably sized, with all the usual features for the class of hotel international TV, movies, hairdryer, electronic combination safe, two large wardrobes. The bath room was very clean (although not huge), there was no bath in our room, but a large shower cabinet instead. It's worth pointing out that the double glazing in the hotel was really good - it blocked out the traffic noise effectively...so you can escape those pesky scooters for a while! The rooftop restaurant is where breakfast is served - complete with piano player. The food was good for us. The view from the roof is pretty impressive with good view of the old castle, Vesuvius, etc. The hotel's location is good - about 100 metres from Piazza Municipio which is on the S3 Orange Bus route from Capodichino airport. By the way - the S3 bus only costs 77 cents and tickets can be bought from the newsagent in the airport (just ask for orange bus ticket)! It's miles cheaper than the AliBus. The hotel is just off the main shopping street (Via Toledo) and about 5 minutes walk from Piazza Plebiscito and the San Carlo opera house. The area surrounding the hotel felt safe at all times of the day. The main train station (Stazione Centrale) is about 25 mins walk or 15 mins in a taxi (~10 Euros in taxi depending on how hellish the traffic hell is at the time you go!). Finally the hotel's close to the Funiculare Centrale take this train (77 cents again) to the Vomero district for a good choice of cafes, gellateria, restaurants, etc and a bit of peace from the frenzy in the main city. Perhaps one criticism of the place is that it's obviously a business hotel so it's got no real character or tourist facilities. This means it's often populated by the businessman/woman and partner so if you turn up for breakfast in tourist gear (i.e. not your Armani suit) then you may get sneered at by other diners, though we didn't get the same vibe from the waiting staff who were friendly and spoke OK English. Anyway, being sneered/stared at by minority well off Naples residents becomes the norm when you've been in the city for more than a day or so! We'd recommend this as a good safe choice for a visit to Naples."

Jolly Hotel is a superior, first-class four stars hotel in the very heart of Naples, close to Piazza del Municipio and only a few steps from the banks/business district and the more exclusive shops.
Hotel Suite Esedra is a three stars hotel in the heart of the historical centre of Naples, very close to the central Railway Station and the commercial and financial district.
Hotel Canada is a three stars hotel overlooking the sea of Mergellina, at the foot of the Posillipo hill, in an ideal position close to all tourist requirements: beaches, hydrofoils for the islands (Capri, Ischia, Procida), walking activities.

Daytona Hotel is a three stars, modern hotel in the industrial pole of north Naples, with a gorgeous view of the Vesuvio and the surrounding country, close to the airport of Naples. Its location is suitable to both tourists and business travellers.
